Okay, so I just came back from my music audition.
First of all, I was late for the train, the and the next train came like 9 mins later, but it was a slow train, so the train I was meant to catch would arrive at Townhall at 4:10 but the one I had to catch arrived at 4:25, so that made me 15 mins late. On the train, I realised that I bought a SINGLE and not a returned and realised how much money I wasted having to buy another single ticket to come back.
When I got to townhall, the next train to ns, was in 9 mins, so that made me another 9 mins late. Then when I arrived at ns, I didnt know which bus AND it was raining and I didnt have an umbrella so I went on every bus that came and asked if this bus went to my school. Just as the third bus came, the music teacher called me and this was the convo:
Teacher: Hello is this Dora?
Me: Yes
Teacher: I was just checking, are you still coming for auditions? (by this time I was 10 mins late)
Me: Yes, sorry the trains were delayed (WELL, I ASSUME that the train form townhall to ns was delayed! it took 8 mins!!!)
Teacher: Oh dear, thats okay, how long would it take you to get here?
Me: Im on the bus right now, excuse me (I ask the bus driver, does this bus go to my school)
Bus driver: Yes
Me to Teacher: Yup, im on my way on the bus
Teacher: Okay, bye
Me: Bye
And I was expecting the teahcers to like shout at me for being so late.
When I arrived at school, they didnt seem pissed at all!
So I auditioned, prob failed it since I was shaking since I was nervous AND I HAVENT PLAYED VIOLA FOR A WHOLE MONTH WHEN I WAS IN CHINA AND JAPAN but then afterwards they were like 'so, is someone picking you up?"
and I was like "no, im taking public transport home."
and they were like oh okay.
Then after a while one of the teachers came in and was like, I live close to where you live, if you want I can send you home, but you need to ask ur guardian,
So I called my brother and then he was like ok, and then I got a ride home with the teacher!
Which saved me 3.30 since i bought a single bus and train ticket!
Yay!
